Visit to the fish market

Right along the river there are huge open-sided markets for all of the goods from the Amazon. We had the chance to walk through the fish market. So many fish! Piles and piles of fish, literally. This photo shows a stack of the tambaqui fish, which is famous for being the most delicious fish of the area.
